Someone really needs to register backuranbo.wordpress.com! Collectively, we’d be back, sak and crack (…uranbo) and the internet would be awesome once again. Until then, here’s a Soviet propaganda poster in promition of the two existing blogs.
Yes, technically it’s far too cheerful to be a Soviet poster.Though I wonder what will await the plucky reader who bravely types “uranbo.wordpress.com” into the address bar. I hear you are forced to remove your own eyes after doing so… with a toothbrush. Perhaps it’s far worse than any spinning meat, any party of lemons and any Mac user.
*checks*
Nope, it’s just a useable domain.
I’m typing this before I head off to work for the day (note: “for the day” is a fairly loose term and in this case means just 4 hours). I reckon I’ll be asked about Wii Fit numerous times, but we won’t have any in. Joy.
Other Stuff:
- Sony are bringing an 80GB PS3 to Europe and Australia in August at the low, low price of £299. It is heavily rumoured to be “two 40GB PS3s glued together”. Still doesn’t have backwards compatibility. The world doesn’t care.
- Miyamoto plays an instrument with a Wii controller. The world doesn’t care.
- Microsoft introduce an avatar system. The world doesn’t care.
- The slogan for the next E3 should totally be, “E3 2009: The World Doesn’t Care”.
- According to IMDB (the Wikipedia of the movie world), one of the many working titles for “Friends” was “Insomnia Cafe”. At first I didn’t understand the connection. But it’s probably a reference to the fact that it’s set in New York – the city that never sleeps (despite evidence to the contrary). My favourite is the Mexican title, “Amigos”.

I like Sak. Don’t quote me on that.
